Position Summary


IU Kokomo is seeking a co-coordinator of the Office of Sustainability. This is a shared 10-month appointment. Co-coordinators rotate primary responsibilities of the office each semester. The primary co-coordinator for the semester will receive a teaching-load reduction of one course during the semester in which the co-coordinator serves as the primary Office of Sustainability coordinator. In the role of co-coordinator, responsibilities include:
• Managing the Office of Sustainability budget
• Hiring and supervision of Office of Sustainability interns
• Working with various campus offices and organizations to promote sustainable practices on campus
• Coordinating with the Office of Sustainability task force to plan, promote and execute various sustainability events on campus and in the community
• Management and promotion of sustainability undergraduate research and community service grants and awards offered by the Office of Sustainability
• Maintaining the campus sustainability inventory database
• Maintaining the Office of Sustainability website and social media accounts
• Bi-annual reporting of IU Kokomo campus sustainability initiatives to Indiana University Director of Sustainability
• Prepare budget requests for the Office of Sustainability
