Position Summary

The Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter(CEEM) at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a research scientist position in experimental nuclear physics. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. and have demonstrated excellence in research. IU Bloomington researchers play leadership roles in neutrino scattering (COHERENT), QCD spin physics (STAR), and searches for BSM physics in precision measurements, mainly using low energy neutrons. The applicant would be expected to contribute to one or more of these ongoing research projects. Noteworthy local resources at IU to support this work include excellent computing facilities and the extensive infrastructure of the IU Center for the Exploration of Energy and Matter (CEEM).
