Position Summary

The Indiana University School of Social Work invites applications for an MSW Program Recruitment and Student Services Lecturer. This is a full-time (12 month) non-tenured track position. The anticipated start date is February 1, 2018. This position works with all aspects of the MSW program in relation to recruitment, admissions, advising, and classroom instruction.

Basic Qualifications

Essential qualifications include an MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program and at least two years of social work experience.

Additional Qualifications

This position requires that the incumbent be skilled in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of tasks related to MSW student admissions, student services advising and recruitment services in the local and regional area. The position requires strong presentation and problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing, the ability to work independently, and strong skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships. In addition, relatively strong skills are required in using computer software and data management programs and basic skills in survey methods.
