Position Summary

The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology at IUPUI (http://chem.iupui.edu/) invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer to begin January 1, 2018. The initial appointment will be for a year with the possibility of reappointment for a second year. Candidates with a background in mass spectrometry or NMR spectroscopy and capable of effectively teaching undergraduate courses in chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates will be expected to support departmental facilities.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must hold an M.S and/or PhD. in chemistry. The successful candidate will be involved in efforts to acquire research-based instrumentation through intra- and extramural funding, as well as overseeing the installation and user training. Interest in supporting departmental research efforts, including those that complement campus-wide interdisciplinary research programs in the life and health sciences, is a strength.
