Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Endocrinology/Diabetology is looking for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the area of diabetes research. This faculty position is on the tenure track and rank will be commensurate with experience. The person hired for this position will have as their primary job responsibility conducting clinical and translational research focused on type 1 diabetes pathogenesis and treatment. The person will also join the clinical faculty with patient care and teaching responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates with research interests in pediatric diabetes, including, but not limited to clinical trials, translational studies, epidemiology of diabetes, and islet biology are invited to apply. An M.D. (or equivalent degree) and board certification or eligibility with post-doctoral research experience is required.
