Position Summary

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for two clinical track faculty positions with expertise in psychiatric mental health nursing. The person is responsible for teaching clinical and didactic courses primarily in the undergraduate courses in psychiatric mental health nursing and may also teach graduate psychiatric mental health in the NP major. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

Basic Qualifications

Qualified applicants must hold a master’s degree in nursing with a doctorate preferred or have completed the BSN to PhD and/or BSN to DNP program and have recent clinical and teaching experience in the field. Applicants who hold the master’s degree must be enrolled in a doctoral program at the time of initial appointment. Psychiatric Mental Health certification is preferred. Applicants currently enrolled or who are willing to enroll to seek certification from an accredited program within 6 months of appointment may qualify. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.
