Position Summary

Indiana University, School of Medicine, Division of Nephrology is recruiting for a full-time tenure-track position at the Associate or Full Professor level. The successful candidate should have broad interests in large data collection and analysis, expertise in advanced renal imaging, and/or diabetes or immunobiology research. If well qualified, the candidate will serve as the holder of an endowed position. The candidate is expected to conduct original independent research, secure consistent extramural funding and significantly participate in the ongoing research of current faculty. A part time appointment at the VA is also available to enhance extramural funding opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate qualifications include an M.D., PhD or M.D./PhD degree. M.D. Candidates will have board certification and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana. The candidate should have an established track record of original research publications in high impact journals and be a present principal investigator of funded research from national or federal agencies. Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment are required.
