Position Summary

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking an outstanding investigator for a tenure-track faculty position. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Of particular interest are candidates who combine cellular, molecular and genetic approaches to investigate fundamental questions in human communicative disorders. Researchers employing interdisciplinary approaches, including advanced imaging, tissue engineering, proteomics/genomics and electrophysiology, are encouraged to apply.

Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and strong evidence of high quality publications and research accomplishments. Candidates will be expected to develop a transformative, funded research program and participate in graduate and medical student training. This position includes generous start-up funding, a lab space in a new research building, and access to excellent core facilities and resources at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. A joint appointment with a basic science department in the school is highly encouraged.
