Position Summary

The Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics is seeking applications for the Section Chief in the section of Pediatric Cardiology and Co-Director of the Pediatrics CV service line. This is a full time position at the Associate/Full Professor level. This is a key leadership position in the top pediatric cardiology programs in the United States in terms of clinical and innovative service, NIH funding, and ranking in the US News and World Report. Responsibilities include: Teach, train and mentor medical students, pediatric residents and pediatric fellows; Provide direct patient care of critically ill and/or injured children in the Pediatric Cardiology units at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and IU Health North Hospital.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board certified in Cardiology Medicine with the American Board of Pediatrics. Applicants should have evidence of excellent research credentials and training, including high impact publications.
