Position Summary

Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine. Position will teach, train, and mentor medical students, pediatric residents, and critical care fellows. Directs patient care in adolescent medicine in the pediatric units at Riley Hospital for Children-Indiana University Health, Methodist Hospital-Indiana University Health, and Indiana University Health North Hospital. In addition, the successful candidate will serve as the responsible faculty member in our Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) training fellowship for providing education to trainees. Responsibilities will include the development of an independently funded research portfolio in one or more adolescent-specific topics, providing consultation to other faculty, training of pre- and post-doctoral students, and serving as a colleague and co-investigators to other faculty members seeking extramural funding within the Section of Adolescent Medicine and to other faculty members throughout the IUPUI campus. Participates in section and departmental conferences, as well as national and regional association meetings. Holds joint appointment with affiliated clinical practice group.

Basic Qualifications

MD, Pediatric Residency (36 Months), Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Fellowship (36 Months), and eligible for IN medical license. Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD or equivalent) in public health or related area.
