CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE PROGRAM
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in the Clinical Laboratory Science B.S. program. This is a full-time, clinical track, 12-month faculty appointment, commencing summer 2017. The CLS program is a NAACLS-accredited, student-lab-based program, with 7 months of student lab and 4 months of clinical rotations. Facilities for teaching are modern and located in the main Indiana University Health Pathology Laboratory building in Indianapolis, IN. Primary responsibilities will be the coordination and teaching of CLS students. Expertise in immunology (clinical serology), virology, and bacteriology are preferred. Instruction of residents and fellows will also be included. This candidate will be involved in recruitment and admissions processes for CLS students and will be expected to maintain involvement in professional societies with attendance and leadership at the state and national level. Depending on the candidate’s interests, opportunities are available for research, publications, and other teaching or scholarly activities.

The candidate must have a generalist MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification, a graduate degree, and teaching experience. Salary and title are commensurate with education and experience. Indiana University offers competitive benefits packages.
