Position Summary

Responsibilities
Studio teaching of trombone majors at all levels and in all degree and diploma programs; possible teaching of euphonium majors; possible coaching of chamber music. Service on Jacobs School of Music committees and participation in department meetings, recital hearings, competitions, juries, auditions, recruitment activities and doctoral advisory committees is expected.

Basic Qualifications

Artist/teacher with established national/international reputation as a performer and demonstrated evidence of successful teaching. Master’s degree is required and doctorate preferred. Commensurate professional experience will be given equal consideration.
